Full time: LAFC 2, Colorado Rapids 0. A good workmanlike win to finish off a big week for the black-and-gold.

50th minute: GOOOOOOOOOOL LAFC! Lee Nguyen with a wonderful individual effort to open the scoring.
Bob Bradley rides the hot hands for LAFC:
The Rapids also roll out their first-choice group:
Los Angeles Football Club got back in the win column on Wednesday, and are looking to make it two in a row to finish off the week, as they welcome Colorado Rapids to Banc of California Stadium for the teams’ first ever meeting on Sunday night.
LAFC have 15 more points than the Rapids, who have been terrible most of the season. However...until their win over Real Salt Lake on Wednesday, LAFC had been in their worst slump of the season, and the Rapids are actually trending up in recent weeks, currently on a three-game unbeaten streak and losing just once in their last six. On form alone, the Rapids are in way better shape.
But LAFC have to see this as a fantastic opportunity at a win, something they could use despite their current third-place standing in the Western Conference. The black-and-gold are at the head of a pack between 3rd place and 8th, separated by just five points. A victory here puts some distance between the chasing pack.
No suspensions on either side here, and both teams are pretty healthy, too. Expect a few players to return to the lineup for Bob Bradley, although after the 2-0 win, many of the players from Wednesday will likely get another run out in this match.
