Well, here we are, the final version of El Trafico for this season (barring any playoff matchups). We all know what happened in the first two matchups for Los Angeles Football Club against the LAGalaxy.

After the first game vs the Galaxy, the reaction from the team and fans seemed to be disbelief and shock, because of how everything played out, and because of the Zlatan Ibrahimovic element.

After the second game, the reaction was anger. Unlike the first game, LAFC dominated almost that entire game, and then it slipped away, with another great play by Zlatan to set up Romain Alessandrini, and then a suicidal back pass by Andre Horta to snatch a draw from the jaws of victory.

So, where does that leave us now? Since that game, LAFC were in the midst of their first real slump of the season, but have won their last two games, though they did not exactly vanquish worldbeaters in Real Salt Lake and the Colorado Rapids.

Meanwhile, the Galaxy have had a slump of their own, including a loss to Colorado, and a draw with Colorado and Minnesota where the Galaxy gave up late leads.

There probably won’t be any surprises between the teams. We know how they play, and we know unfortunately how the first two games have gone.

We know that LAFC struggle to hold a lead. We know that the Galaxy struggle to defend.

I suppose those could cancel each other out, and we get a 0-0 draw, but based on the makeup of these teams, does anyone expect that to happen?

Prediction: LAFC 3, LA Galaxy 2. LAFC hang on, and somehow, someway, get their first victory over the Galaxy.
