Vote: LAFC Man of the Match vs. New York Red Bulls

Which player stood out for the visitors?

MLS: Columbus Crew at New York Red Bulls Vincent Carchietta-USA TODAY Sports

Los Angeles Football Club could not keep pace with the New York Red Bulls and lost 2-1 at Red Bull Arena on Sunday. Diego Rossi scored, but Daniel Royer had a brace for the hosts and that was enough for three points.

It’s that time again, to vote for the Man of the Match for LAFC from the game. The nominees, as selected by Angels on Parade staff:

  • Benny Feilhaber: Helped LAFC play assured soccer until he was subbed out (likely to keep him fresh for Wednesday’s U.S. Open Cup game).
  • Diego Rossi: Scored LAFC’s goal, and was the most threatening attacking threat overall for the team on the day.
  • Carlos Vela: Set up Rossi’s goal, and put in plenty of work from a deeper position in midfield.

So who gets your vote? Cast your ballot and spread the word. And of course, let us know why you voted for your pick in the comments below.
