Another good week for Orange County SC last week, and the leaguewide recognition continues to pour in, as USL announced OCSC forward Darwin Jones was part of the Team of the Week for Week 21.

Jones, 26, was signed by Orange County last month, and has already made a mark, notably in the last game. He scored two goals for his new team in a 2-1 win over Swope Park Rangers on Saturday, a result that helped Orange County maintain a 2nd place position in the Western Conference.

In addition, Jones’ teammate Aodhan Quinn was named to the Team of the Week bench. Quinn has been outstanding in recent weeks, and basically spearheaded Orange County’s comeback in a 2-2 home draw on Wednesday against Portland Timbers 2. OC have a few players who could be in contention for season-ending awards in USL, but if he keeps playing like this Quinn could be an MVP candidate this season.

Congrats to Darwin and Aodhan, and here’s hoping the good times keep rolling for Orange County SC.
