Another week, and in a pleasantly familiar occurrence, another Los Angeles Football Club player is on the MLS Team of the Week. And not just any player, but goalkeeper Tyler Miller gets the nod for the Team of the Week XI, after making seven saves in a 1-1 draw against the New England Revolution on Saturday.
Congrats, @Tymiller01!

His 6th @MLS Team of the Week of 2018 https://t.co/KVfK5kWeq5
Miller has been a fairly regular member on the Team of the Week this season, his first as a starter at MLS level. He’s tied for third in MLS in saves made, with 101 to date, and he’s tied for fourth in the league in shutouts with eight, in 27 appearances. He may not be quite at the highest echelon of MLS goalkeepers, but if he continues to develop his game and come up in the clutch, it’s not out of the realm of possibility he could be in the MLS Goalkeeper of the Year running in the future.
Congrats to Tyler, and here’s hoping the weekly honors continue for him and LAFC.
