In what is becoming a strange pattern, the latest Los Angeles Football Club injury report is out, ahead of their game on Saturday afternoon against the San Jose Earthquakes at Banc of California Stadium, and Danilo Silva is back on the dreaded list.
Silva is the addition to the report this week, as he’s listed as out with “R hamstring irritation.” On the bright side, perhaps irritation of the hamstring is not a long-term issue. On the downside, he won’t be suiting up vs. the Quakes. Expect Dejan Jakovic to line up alongside Walker Zimmerman in Silva’s place.
In other injury news, Aaron Kovar remains out with what is called left knee irritation on the team’s website. He got on the injury report last week with that ailment. Mark-Anthony Kaye (broken ankle) and Quillan Roberts (broken leg) remain long-term injury absences.
Otherwise, no other players are listed on the injury report. That means, among other things, that perhaps we may see the return of Adama Diomande, who roasted San Jose in the teams’ first meeting this year. Or we may not, who knows. That’s the injury news, though!
