Full time: LAFC 2, San Jose 0. Not spectacular, but a competent win against a team LAFC should beat. Thanks for following along! Check out our full recap of the game over here.
68th minute: GOOOOOOOOOOOL! Once again, Zimmerman scores with a header off Vela’s corner kick. What a game for Walker!
We're seeing double!

It's ANOTHER header from @thewalkerzim & another assist for @11carlosV. 2-0. #LAFCvSJ https://t.co/C4i9vHEyao
Halftime: LAFC lead 1-0. They’ve been firmly in control, but with a mere one-goal lead, we know that’s not always enough for this team. We’ll see if they can pile on more goals in the second half.
41st minute: GOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOL! LAFC take the lead on a corner kick, as Walker Zimmerman heads in the set piece to beat Marcinkowski. Zimmerman’s first goal for LAFC.

Lineups:
LAFC make no surprises in defense, with Dejan Jakovic replacing the injured Danilo Silva. In attack, Latif Blessing and Adama Diomande come into the starting lineup:

A couple changes for San Jose on short rest, with little-used Joel Qwiberg brought in defense, and Jahmir Hyka and Chris Wondolowski starting for this one:

Los Angeles Football Club look to get back in the win column as they welcome the San Jose Earthquakes to The Banc for the first time ever, in a Saturday matinee matchup.
The Quakes are entering the second game of the Steve Ralston interim manager era, and the first game, on Wednesday against Atlanta United, started well and then soured into a last-minute 4-3 loss. Will they have learned quick lessons and offer more of a test against LAFC, or will they be demoralized by yet another demoralizing capitulation?
No suspensions on either side for this game, and Danilo Silva out is the big injury news for LAFC. Anibal Godoy and Danny Hoesen are both listed as questionable for San Jose.
