How to Watch Orange County SC vs. OKC Energy FC

Can OC return to the win column?

Orange County SC are back in action on Saturday night, as they host OKC Energy FC in an evening kickoff at Orange County Great Park. After ripping off a long unbeaten run, Orange County are two games winless, following their road draw against Seattle Sounders 2 last weekend.

OC and OKC last played way back in March, when Orange County downed Energy FC 1-0 during an Oklahoma road swing. It was a nice, gritty win that helped set up OCSC’s strong road form this season.

That said, while OKC were out of sorts for much of this season, they’ve recently clicked into gear, under manager Steve Cooke. They’re still out of the playoff running at the moment, five points out of the final postseason slot, but they recently posted a four-game winning streak to give themselves hope. That winning streak included a big win over West leaders Real Monarchs.

In spite of all of that, Orange County SC are still in the running themselves to top the Western Conference, but they need to post victories. This should be an interesting game — let’s see if they can get back in the win column.

Tale of the Tape:

Orange County SC: 51 points (15-7-6), 3rd place in Western Conference; Goal Difference: +24; Last five games: D-L-W-W-W

OKC Energy FC: 35 points (10-13-5), 10th place in Western Conference; Goal Difference: -4; Last five games: L-W-W-W-W
