Los Angeles Football Club’s 2019 schedule is out, and to celebrate the new season, the club released a flippin’ beautiful video.

Now, if you’re under the age of 30, you may be thoroughly confused by what’s going on here. The screen is fuzzy, there’s a weird voiceover, cheesy rock music blasting in the background, words scrolling over the screen in alternating colors...
It’s a specific genre of 1980s television commercial, where you could order music over the telephone and have it delivered by mail? I know, the internet fixed a lot of these issues.

So the LAFC was pitch-perfect in that regard, and it was a lot of fun to watch. Clearly a lot of time had been put into it, and it looks and sounds great.
