Orange County SC announced this week they have signed Connor Gordon to his first professional contract.
The forward, a product of Concordia University, is familiar to the club, as he played for Orange County SC U-23s the last two years in USL League Two (formerly known as USL PDL). Gordon is an Orange County native.

“We are pleased to add Connor, a local stand out to our first team roster,” said OCSC general manager Oliver Wyss in a statement. “Connor successfully developed through our pathway to professional model and after an impressive season playing for our U23 side earned a full professional contract.”
OCSC have found some success with signing locals of late, with Giovanni Ramos-Godoy performing well as a supersub striker last season in his rookie year. And with the team aiming to develop the homegrown element in their mission, adding another local youngster could help in that objective.
