Orange County SC announced on Friday they have re-signed midfielder Koji Hashimoto.

The 32-year-old returns for the 2019 season, after first joining OCSC in 2018, making 24 appearances, half of those starts, scoring two goals in just over 1,000 minutes of action.

The dead-ball specialist, who had spent his entire career before moving to Orange County in his native Japan, did not really emerge as a star last season, but with OCSC posting their best season and Hashimoto playing a complimentary role when healthy, player and team came together and decided he still has a role to play for the squad for the upcoming 2019 season.

Orange County SC’s roster is now up to around 15 players. The season kicks off on March 9 on the road against Reno 1868 FC, so expect more signings coming.
