One thing I noticed in listening to the bounty of Los Angeles Football Club-related podcasts this week: The racial/ethnic/cultural diversity on display between these shows is truly impressive. What’s cool about this is we’re seeing LAFC through the prism of varied identities and perspectives, and that’s useful. Is there room for even more diversity? Yes, absolutely. But good job creating a varied mosaic of podcast offerings to the shows active these days.
The Locker Room with Walker Zimmerman
The promised new entry in #LAFCPodFam has dropped its debut episode, as LAFC defender Walker Zimmerman talks with former LAFC midfielder Aaron Kovar, who retired in the offseason and is going to school.
Inside LAFC
Max and Vince recap the Portland win and preview the NYCFC game. They talk about music, and reveal one news tidbit: Shaft Brewer, Jr. has been injured, although no specifics discussed.
