Orange County SC made it two wins in a row, as they defeated Tacoma Defiance 3-0 on Wednesday at Orange County Great Park.

Fresh off their first win of the season at the weekend, OC put in another solid performance, another clean sheet, and more goals from scorers this season.

Orange County opened the scoring in the 28th minute as Darwin Jones received a pass from Aodhan Quinn, took on a defender and scored, his third goal in two games for Orange County. Jones, who turned pro as a homegrown for Seattle Sounders (Tacoma’s parent club), did not celebrate against his old club.

Orange County has a hatful of chances after that but finally doubled their lead in the 71st minute, as Walker Hume settled a cross for fellow center back Leonardo, who scored his second goal for the club from close range.

Michael Seaton then added a late tally, in the 85th minute, off Vinicius’ cross, to make it 3-0. A few minutes later, Vinicius opened his account for the club to really pour it on.

Orange County are off this weekend, and will be back in action a week from Saturday at OKC Energy FC. OCSC aren’t fully clicking just yet, but with two wins in a row and the team finding a bit of rhythm, they seem to be on the right trajectory at the moment.
