Orange County SC are back in action on Saturday night after a 10-day break, as they will take on OKC Energy FC for the first time in 2019 in Oklahoma.
OCSC have found some purchase on their season, winning their last two games after a bumpy opening four games. Getting Patrick McLain in goal has been a big boost, as has the returns of Aodhan Quinn and Michael Seaton from injury, as has the late signings who are starting to settle. The OKC road trip is tricky but there seems to be some confidence growing with this group.
OKC, meanwhile, have had a rocky start to the season themselves, although they sit just one point behind Orange County at the moment. They’ve only had two home games, winning one and losing the other. MLS and USL veteran Deshorn Brown leads them in scoring with three, while intriguing offseason addition Alexy Bosetti has one so far.
It should be a good test for Orange County, as they look to truly kick off a winning streak.
