For the second week in a row, the MLS Disciplinary Committee has fined a Los Angeles Football Club player, as this week Diego Rossi was cited for simulation/embellishment, which came in the 43rd minute of their 5-0 rout over the San Jose Earthquakes.
Rossi has an uncanny knack for both drawing a lot of contact and getting red cards and such while also falling down pretty easily a lot. As I noted on Twitter during the game, referees, who admit to discussing players who seem to embellish a lot and often tend to become less and less sympathetic, seem to be doing that right now with Rossi.
The referees clearly talk about Diego Rossi during meetings, it's very, very clear they watch him closely.

In the past, players who continually get popped for simulation/embellishment got suspended. To be honest, I don’t remember the last time that happened and I’m not entirely sure that remains the procedure. Hopefully we won’t have to find out through Diego!
