The podcast game is ever-increasing, with two new shows featured this week that relate to Los Angeles Football Club. I’m currently taking sponsorships to support my listenership of this bumper crop of shows.
Back to Back
New show alert! Jordan Harvey and Steven Beitashour team up for the second LAFC player podcast. They are both fullbacks, hence the name, and their first guest is LAFC GM John Thorrington. Harvey admits off the top the audio isn’t great, as it sounds like it was recorded in the world’s most cavernous bathroom, but the actual content is good. Thorrington opens up on some topics we haven’t heard before. Sounds like another good entry to #LAFCPodFam.

Are We LAFC?
Another newish podcast in the PodFam is Are We LAFC? Three fans get together for a loose, freewheeling chat, with episodes clocking in at a nice time. One warning: A lot of swearing, so beware at work and/or around kids.
New episode is live! Subscribe, listen, and enjoy! San Jose is made fun of early and often. #LAFC #LAFC3252 #LAFCPodFam #lafcvsanjose #ShoulderToShoulder

Soccer Weekly
Dave Denholm’s ESPN radio show has not only Bob Bradley but also Jordan Harvey on this week. Bradley sounds like he’s in good spirits, but for the record, his “podcast” remains in-family only (I think he may just be talking about Facetime? Who knows). Harvey promotes his new show (podception!) and talks the good start, referencing some of the topics he brought up in our recent interview with him.
If you missed “Soccer Weekly” yesterday, you missed Bob Bradley AND @JordanCHarvey on with me. Do not miss the podcast! https://t.co/59FT8824T9

LAFC Season Pass
The reporters talk the Quakes win, preview the D.C. United game, and discuss Carlos Vela’s case to be MLS Player of the Month as well as the fact that LAFC do not appear to be completely reliant on the star. It’s a delightful paradox for LAFC.
Early pod this week: @yay_yee, @RCWallerson & @Adweezy recap San Jose, & possible seismographic activity, they also preview @LAFC's visit to @dcunited who made @AudiField a tricky place to play and have conceded just 1 goal in #MLS this year — https://t.co/6cuc61LnHn
