Los Angeles Football Club got back in the win column on Friday, with a 4-2 win over the Montreal Impact at The Banc. Christian Ramirez, Carlos Vela, Latif Blessing and Tristan Blackmon had the goals for the winning side.
So, it’s time to vote for Man of the Match once again. The nominees, as selected by Angels on Parade staff:
- Eduard Atuesta: The midfielder was back in fine form upon his return after sitting out the last game with an injury. He set up Vela’s goal and put in another terrific shift on both sides of the ball.
- Tristan Blackmon: Made his second start of the season for the black-and-gold at right back as Steven Beitashour’s understudy, and capped off a great night with his first career MLS goal.
- Latif Blessing: The utilityman added to his toolbelt with his first goal of the season, to go with another stellar shift in midfield.
- Carlos Vela: Had another goal, his 15th in 15 games, to go with two assists on the night, to lead the team to a huge lead in order to ride out the late Montreal rally.
