Vote: LAFC Man of the Match vs. Chicago Fire

Which player stood tallest in the draw?

MLS: Chicago Fire at Los Angeles FC Kirby Lee-USA TODAY Sports

Well, it wasn’t the win we were all hoping for but Los Angeles Football Club extended their unbeaten run to three games after a 0-0 draw against the Chicago Fire on Saturday night at Banc of California Stadium. As the scoreline suggests, no goals in this one.

So with that, we ask you who was the LAFC Man of the Match. The nominees, as selected by Angels on Parade staff:

  • Jordan Harvey: Had the busiest night on the attacking end, believe it or not, and came closest to scoring with his first-half attempt that was cleared off the line. Clean sheet, too!
  • Tyler Miller: Only had one save but added two punches and had the craziest play that came off, getting an interception on Nemanja Nikolic’s breakaway while pushed way upfield. Also posted another clean sheet.
  • Walker Zimmerman: Can you sense a pattern? He also had a great chance to score but marshaled the backline to get the shutout and a share of the points.
