It’s day three of the 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup, and like Sunday’s action, Monday’s slate of games take place off-site from the United States, with a doubleheader in Kingston, Jamaica.
After Curacao and El Salvador kick off in the first match (4 pm PT, FS1, UDN, Fox Sports Go), the headliner will kick off, with Jamaica hosting Honduras.
Among the players expected to feature for the Reggae Boyz is Los Angeles Football Club midfielder Peter-Lee Vassell. He started and impressed as the No. 10 in Jamaica’s 1-0 tune-up friendly win over the United States, and that result has only raised expectations for Jamaica, who were finalists in the last two Gold Cups. That said, they know they’ve got pressure on them, and it will be interesting to see if they can step up for the occasion.
Honduras are unlikely to be pushovers themselves, and think of themselves as dark horse contenders for the tournament. It’s safe to say if there’s a winner in this game, that team is the favorite to win the group, with the other team likely to also advance if they can take care of business with the other teams in the group.
How to Watch Jamaica vs. Honduras: The game is scheduled to kick off around 6:30 pm PT on Monday at the National Stadium in Kingston, Jamaica. The game can be watched in the United States on FS1, UniMás, UDN and Fox Sports Go.
