How to Watch Mexico vs. Canada, 2019 Concacaf Gold Cup

Les Rouges have enormous test on tap.

Soccer: CONCACAF Gold Cup-Canada at Martinique Kelvin Kuo-USA TODAY Sports

Canada are coming off their best-ever Concacaf Gold Cup win and now the challenge ramps up considerably, as they will take on Mexico on Wednesday night in Denver. Following the night’s opener, Cuba vs. Martinique (5 pm PT, FS1, UDN, Fox Sports), the Group A winners on the opening matchday will square off.

Canada blew through Martinique 4-0 on Saturday to open the tournament, before Mexico topped it, with a 7-0 shellacking of Cuba. This will be a fascinating game for Canada and Los Angeles Football Club midfielder Mark-Anthony Kaye, as Canada have an emerging generation of talent, but with Mexico a tournament favorite and Kaye featuring out of position at left back, can they possibly keep up with El Tri?

If they can, it will be a huge boost. If they can’t, it could dent the confidence of a team that hasn’t seen much international success at all in recent years. We’ll see what happens.

How to Watch Mexico vs. Canada: The game is scheduled to kick off around 7:30 pm PT on Wednesday at Mile High Stadium in Denver. The game can be watched in the United States on FS1, Univision, UDN and Fox Sports Go.
