Orange County SC dug deep to post a 2-1 win over Rio Grande Valley FC on Saturday and one of their players, defender Joe Amico, was selected to the USL Championship Team of the Week for Week 13 of the 2019 regular season as a result.

Amico made six clearances, six interceptions, nine recoveries and four tackles in the win, which saw the team go down two men over the course of the match.
The 24-year-old is in his second season with OCSC, having made nine appearances so far this year in league play for the club. The fullback seems to be building his versatility on the backline, and can hopefully build on his best performance of the season to date. Congrats to Joe for the honor.
Orange County SC are back in action on Saturday on the road, when they face Las Vegas Lights FC at Cashman Field.
