How to Watch Las Vegas Lights FC vs. Orange County SC

Can OCSC break Vegas’ home unbeaten run?

Orange County SC continue their USL Championship regular season slate with a road game against Las Vegas Lights FC on Saturday night, the teams’ first meeting of the season.

There are a lot of changes this year for Vegas, who are now coached by Eric Wynalda. Out are Chelís’ boys, in are Wynalda’s crew, including several players from Southern California. Their lead scorer is a familiar face, in Irvin Parra, who played for OCSC in the second half of the 2017 season.

Orange County sits above the playoff line, Las Vegas below it, but realistically these teams are just three points apart, so this is a “six-pointer” for OCSC in particular.

Aside from the usual considerations — Vegas are unbeaten at home in league play this year, Parra and Sammy Ochoa are very big bodies that will put pressure on any defense — OCSC will miss two key players in the match, as both Aodhan Quinn and Darwin Jones will be serving red-card suspensions and will be unavailable. Braeden Cloutier will have the benefit of a full week to prepare for the absences to the team’s two leading scorers.

Tale of the Tape:

Orange County SC: 18 points (4-3-6), 9th place in Western Conference; Goal Difference: +3; Last five games: W-D-D-D-W

Las Vegas Lights FC: 15 points (4-6-3), 14th place in Western Conference; Goal Difference: -4; Last five games: L-D-L-W-W

How to Watch Las Vegas Lights FC vs. Orange County SC: The game is scheduled to kick off at 7:30 pm PT at Cashman Field in Las Vegas. You can watch the stream only on ESPN+.
