How to Watch Orange County SC vs. Sacramento Republic FC

OCSC look to make it a six-point week.

Coming off the best win of the season midweek, Orange County SC are back in action at home on Saturday, hosting a bacon, bourbon and beer fest at Championship Soccer Stadium and hosting Sacramento Republic FC.

OCSC, foundering in the summer months, roused themselves to a dominant 4-1 win on Wednesday afternoon over Reno 1868, who are in 2nd place in the Western Conference. And while Sac Republic have been a team that OCSC have had good moments and bad over the years, they may be catching them at the right time, with Sacramento losing four of their last five games, sitting level on points and just one spot above Orange County in the standings.

That said, this is the first meeting of 2019 between the teams, and you never quite know how you’ll match up against a new opponent so late in the season. Still managed by former MLS player Simon Elliott, Cameron Iwasa is their leading scorer with nine goals, and this should be a big test for Orange County to solidify their playoff credentials. If they play like they did on Wednesday, they absolutely can grab another victory, but we’ll see how it goes.

Tale of the Tape:

Orange County SC: 26 points (6-7-8), 10th place in Western Conference; Goal Difference: 0; Last five games: W-D-L-W-L

Sacramento Republic FC: 26 points (8-9-2), 9th place in Western Conference; Goal Difference: +3; Last five games: L-L-W-L-L

How to Watch Orange County SC vs. Sacramento Republic FC: The game is scheduled to kick off at 7 pm PT at Championship Soccer Stadium in Irvine. You can watch the stream only on ESPN+.
