91st minute: GOOOOOOOOOOOL LAFC! Mohamed El-Munir scores his first goal for LAFC as well to put the game fully out of reach.

89th minute: GOOOOOOOOOOOOL LAFC! Fito Zelaya scores his first career MLS goal, as Vela sets him up.

85th minute: Goal SKC. Yohan Croizet follows up with a ball over the top and scores with a kung fu kick to make it 3-1 for LAFC.

28th minute: GOOOOOOOOOOOOL LAFC! Would you believe it, Christian Ramirez with a clever free kick, under the Sporting wall, and LAFC are on the board! 1-0 lead.

LAFC play as strong a lineup as they have, with Tristan Blackmon filling in for Walker Zimmerman again and Pablo Sisniega in goal for Tyler Miller.

Sporting are playing with about as strong a lineup as they have, too. No waving a white flag here.

Los Angeles Football Club will travel to the Midwest for a midweek tilt against Sporting Kansas City.

LAFC is coming off a surprising 1-0 defeat at the hands of the Colorado Rapids. Similarly to the first loss of the season against Vancouver, Bob Bradley put forth an experimental starting XI that did not succeed. Expect squad rotations to continue as LAFC will be extremely busy in July.

Sporting Kansas City were also unable to earn a positive result this past weekend as Peter Vermes’ squad fell against Real Salt Lake. It has been a horrific season thus far SKC as the club is currently bottom of the Western Conference with 19 points. This midweek test for LAFC will provide the club an opportunity to get back in a groove against a struggling SKC side.

Vegas currently favors LAFC at (+105), while listing Sporting Kansas City as home underdogs (+220). The odds for a draw are currently listed at (+275) (Via Westgate).
