How to Watch Orange County SC vs. Las Vegas Lights FC

Two teams hungry for points square off in Irvine.

Orange County SC are back in action, looking to revive their playoff prospects in the USL Championship, as they host another postseason hopeful, Las Vegas Lights FC, at Orange County Great Park on Saturday.

OCSC are coming off a brutal loss on the road last week against the team in the basement of the West, Tacoma Defiance, in a season filled with difficult results. But they remain four points out of the final slot above the playoff line, so it’s not all over yet by any means, and they made headlines this week when they signed 14-year-old midfielder Francis Jacobs.

They’ll welcome a Vegas side that is level on points, one spot ahead of OCSC, and on the same form over the last five games. It’s a great opportunity for both teams, and for Los Angeles Football Club partisans it will be interesting to see if loanees Dejan Jakovic and Rodolfo Zelaya feature for Eric Wynalda’s Lights FC team.

Both teams are basically in must-win territory these days, and these teams split the points in their first meeting, back in June, with former OCSC player Irvin Parra scoring for Las Vegas, Joe Amico picking up a first-half stoppage time red card, and Leonardo clawing a point back with one of his goals this season. Will one side emerge a victor this time around? This should be a very intriguing game.

Tale of the Tape:

Orange County SC: 27 points (6-8-9), 14th place in Western Conference; Goal Difference: -1; Last five games: L-D-W-D-L

Las Vegas Lights FC: 27 points (7-9-6), 13th place in Western Conference; Goal Difference: -3; Last five games: D-L-W-L-D

How to Watch Orange County SC vs. Las Vegas Lights FC: The game is scheduled to kick off at 7 pm PT at Championship Soccer Stadium. You can watch the stream only on ESPN+.
