Los Angeles Football Club won their fourth straight game on Saturday when they defeated Real Salt Lake 2-0 at Rio Tinto Stadium. Carlos Vela and Adama Diomande had the goals for the visitors to take three points.
Now, it’s time to decide who was Man of the Match for LAFC. The nominees, as selected by Angels on Parade staff:
- Adama Diomande: Scored his eighth goal of the season in league play to ice the result, Dio looks to be in form and should be counted on in the weeks to come.
- Mark-Anthony Kaye: Had to help lock it down in the back after Walker Zimmerman was sent off a few minutes into the second half, and did a terrific job to stymie RSL’s midfield.
- Tyler Miller: Made four saves, level with his counterpart Nick Rimando, but picking up a shutout win on the road while down a man 15 minutes is nothing to sniff at.
- Carlos Vela: Is finding a way to win for LAFC even when the goals aren’t flowing freely. Drew the penalty and scored it to secure three points.
