Orange County SC aim to win seven on the trot as they face Rio Grande Valley FC on the road on Saturday night. Coming in on a six-game winning streak, times are good for OCSC, but they will have to do it without two key players.
Both Harry Forrester and Aodhan Quinn are suspended for the game due to yellow-card accumulation, and while the entire team has played fantastically of late, the duo’s absence could be a concern. At the same time, the likes of Michael Seaton, Darwin Jones and Frederik Due have done a lot of the lifting, so hopefully they can weather the absences.
Orange County beat RGVFC in the teams’ last meeting, 2-1 in Irvine. Can they make it a sweep for the season? RGV have struggled this season, but they have had Orange County SC’s number in the past, notably last year, as the only team that seemed capable of shutting OCSC out cold. Should be an interesting match.
