RSL don’t have Justen Glad or Albert Rusnak for this one, but a pretty strong group for them otherwise.

Los Angeles Football Club will look to make their latest trip to Utah a more positive one, as they face Real Salt Lake Sunday night at Rio Tinto Stadium.
The first trip to the Salt Lake City area this year led to a player strike that has transformed RSL’s future, and then the second trip was a dud of a match, a 3-0 loss with a heavily rotated black-and-gold lineup that didn’t flip the switch. So perhaps the third time’s a charm!
LAFC could use a win, as they are on the edge of dropping below the playoff line in the Western Conference and still on a frustrating run of inconsistency, capped off with last weekend’s last-minute loss to the San Jose Earthquakes. A win won’t cure all ills, but it would certainly help prop up the playoff hopes and could, could! be the first page turned on the season if they can get back on track.
RSL, meanwhile, are level on points with LAFC right now and so are in a battle to stay above the playoff line themselves. Like LAFC, their form has been all over the map, although with their club owner talking his way out of owning the club lately and a spate of scandals in the fallout from that, they’ve got a lot going on right now. But RSL are unbeaten in their last two games, which is better microform than LAFC.
So we’ll see. Both teams could use the win. Both teams are completely unpredictable. What will happen? Tune in to find out.
Odds:
According to DraftKings Sportsbook, as of Saturday evening, LAFC are (-107) while RSL are (+230). The odds of a draw are (+310). The bookmakers have LAFC favorites, which is a bit surprising, but hey, hopefully LAFC step up for this one and pick up three points.
How to Watch:
Sunday’s match between LAFC and RSL will be televised locally on YouTube TV and EstrellaTV, and in the rest of the country on ESPN+. The broadcast is scheduled to start at 6:30 pm PT with kickoff to follow.
