Multiple sources have reported a local man and Los Angeles Football Club supporter, Jeffrey Ghazarian, has died after battling the coronavirus. He was 34.
Ghazarian’s death was reported by TMZ on Thursday, detailing his recent travels and complications he suffered after contracting coronavirus. As soon as that report went up, LAFC supporters began mourning Ghazarian on social media.

While Ghazarian’s passing is surprising because of his age, the TMZ report indicated he had some underlying health conditions. That said, this has to serve as a wake-up call — many of us who contract coronavirus will get through it, but this virus is no joke and you can’t predict who will be affected worst by it, even adults in the prime of their lives who you may have stood shoulder to shoulder with at The Banc.
Obviously this is devastating news, for Jeff’s family, friends and the LAFC community. May he rest in peace, and Angels on Parade extends its condolences to all affected by his death.
