Vela also has a goal streak going, having scored in 11 straight games, which is approaching a league record, held by Josef Martinez, who scored in 15 consecutive appearances last year.
Across all competitions this season, Vela has four goals in four appearances. Any way you slice it, Vela is on a roll and his MVP form seems to have fully carried over from 2019. Long may it continue.
