Starting Sunday, 16 teams will participate in a two-part head-to-head matchup against another team. Each club represented will feature a match by a current MLS player and the club’s current eMLS pro. In the case of LAFC, they’ll run with Adama Diomande as the player involved and Martin “RemiMartinn” Oregel as their eMLS pro.
Now, the first matchup? They’ll take on none other than the LA Galaxy another e-El Trafico. Diomande will face Chicharito in his match, while Oregel will take on Giuseppe Guastella.

In the Los Angeles quadrant of the bracket, the winner of the e-El Trafico will face a midwestern winner, either the Chicago Fire or FC Cincinnati. That match will take place right after El Trafico, with the winner from the quadrant returning for the final phase on May 17.
In each match, there will be two games played, the player first and eMLS pro second. The aggregate score will determine the winner.
You can watch the eMLS El Trafico as part of the eMLS Tournament Special on Sunday on FS1, Fox Deportes and the Fox Sports app. The Chicago-Cincy match will kick things off at 4 pm PT, with El Trafico coming afterwards.
The winner of each match will get a donation made in their name by MLS WORKS and Fox Sports to Feeding America.
What do you think? Can Dio replicate his El Trafico exploits on FIFA? Will Oregel get the upper hand again on his counterpart? Let’s chat in the comments below.
