It’s been awhile since Los Angeles Football Club participated in the opening rounds of the eMLS Tournament Special, the FIFA20 tournament hosted by MLS and featuring MLS teams’ eMLS pro and a rostered pro soccer player, but the finals are coming up and LAFC will take part.
LAFC’s team of Martin “RemiMartinn” Oregel and Adama Diomande will participate in the finals, with their semifinal clash coming against Sporting Kansas City, against eMLS pro Alexander Betancourt and soccer player Wan Kuzain Wan Kamal. If they down Sporting, LAFC would head to the final to take on the winner of the New York City FC-Atlanta United semifinal. NYCFC is represented by Chris Holly and Sean Johnson, while Atlanta’s players are Paulo Neto and Franco Escobar.

The final will be aired Sunday starting at 3 pm PT on FS1, I’m not sure if LAFC will play in the first semifinal or not, but the final will come right after both semifinals are over. Best of luck to Martin and Adama, and bring home the trophy!
