How to Watch Sacramento Republic vs. Orange County SC

Can Orange County take their unbeaten run out on the road?

Update: The game was postponed due to positive coronavirus tests ahead of a separate USL Championship game. Here’s more details, and info on when this game will be rescheduled is not yet available.

Orange County SC will look for their second win in a row, as they head out on the road for the first time in 2020, to take on Sacramento Republic Wednesday in Northern California.

OCSC are riding high after their first win, a 1-0 victory over 10-man Phoenix Rising that was fully deserved. OCSC are unbeaten this season and that includes back-to-back results against Phoenix, considered the toast of the Western Conference coming into the season. Maybe Orange County should have that mantle instead?

It’s too early to say that definitively, but OCSC are taking on another vaunted opponent in Sac Republic, who are atop their respective group but are coming off a chastening loss against LA Galaxy II on the road over the weekend. Los Dos are no joke, but Sac Republic haven’t been a well-oiled machine yet this season, and they fancy themselves contenders, too. Expect a big response to bounce back from their loss, and expect an entertaining match in this one.

Tale of the Tape:

Orange County SC: 5 points (1-0-2); Goal Difference: +1; Last three games: W-D-D

Sacramento Republic FC: 5 points (1-1-2), Goal Difference: 0; Last four games: L-W-D-D

How to Watch Sacramento Republic vs. Orange County SC: The game is scheduled to kick off at 8 pm PT at Papa Murphy’s Park. You can watch the stream on YurView California for Cox subscribers in Orange County, Santa Barbara and Palos Verdes and on ESPN+ outside that local viewing region.
