Los Angeles Football Club will aim to continue their run in the MLS is Back Tournament when they meet Orlando City Friday in the quarterfinal round.
LAFC were pegged the favorites for the tournament heading into it, and so far they’ve lived up to that billing, particularly with their win over the Seattle Sounders in the Round of 16, where LAFC led throughout, but had to weather a rally by the Sounders before pulling away very late.
Orlando are a surprise of sorts, as they’ve been pretty dreadful throughout their history in MLS, but under former MLS Coach of the Year Oscar Pareja now and playing in their own backyard, they’re doing quite well. Have they made a jump high enough to stun LAFC? You never know, this is MLS, after all.
This game’s going to be much earlier than previous LAFC games, so be sure to make yourself available at 4:30 pm PT when the game gets underway.
Odds:
According to DraftKings Sportsbook, as of Thursday evening, LAFC are (-127) while the Orlando are (+270). The odds of a draw through 90 minutes are (+325), so the bookmakers continue to give the edge to LAFC, even though Orlando are playing a local game, basically.
How to Watch:
Friday’s match between LAFC and Orlando City will be televised nationally on FS1 and UniMás in the United States, which you can watch via FuboTV. The broadcast is scheduled to start at 4:30 pm PT with kickoff to follow.
