Orange County SC will look to extend their winning streak to four games as they play the first 405 Derby of the season, against LA Galaxy II Saturday evening.

OCSC last defeated Las Vegas Lights 1-0 at home a week ago, with a late Aodhan Quinn goal winning it for Braeden Cloutier’s group in a tense match. All of Orange County’s games have been close this season to date, but they remain unbeaten in 2020 and with three games in hand will seek to catch up to Phoenix Rising atop Group B.

Galaxy II have had an odd month, as they just got back in action Wednesday after three and a half weeks between games due to a team coronavirus outbreak. That outbreak postponed the first scheduled meeting between these teams, but if both teams avoid an outbreak this time around, they can finally play.

Los Dos are coming off a 4-1 loss Wednesday to Phoenix, but aside from two lopsided losses to Phoenix this season the youngsters are playing very well, otherwise posting three wins in three games. I think OCSC are rounding into form but Galaxy II are much savvier and able to stick with an independent club than most MLS2 teams, and can’t be taken lightly.

So how will this rivalry game go? We’ll see once the teams are out on the field, but it should be a good one.

Tale of the Tape:

Orange County SC: 11 points (3-0-2); Goal Difference: +4; Last five games: W-W-W-D-D

LA Galaxy II: 9 points (3-2-0), Goal Difference: -1; Last five games: L-W-W-L-W

How to Watch LA Galaxy II vs. Orange County SC: The game is scheduled to kick off at 7 pm PT at Dignity Health Sports Park in Carson. You can watch the stream on ESPN+ throughout the United States.
