How to Watch Orange County SC vs. LA Galaxy II

OCSC aim to jump above Los Dos in Group B standings.

Orange County SC have work to do and with a huge week ahead, begin the first of their two-game homestand against LA Galaxy II Wednesday night at Orange County Great Park.

Orange County have lost just one time this season, but by virtue of their draw on Saturday against San Diego Loyal, and Galaxy II’s win over Las Vegas Lights Sunday, Los Dos have climbed about OCSC in the Group B standings, although the teams are level on points. It’s certainly not time to panic for Orange County, but a two-win week over LA would put major distance between them and their biggest competition for a playoff spot at present.

I think it’s worth noting, however, that even though Orange County have a win over Galaxy II recently, Los Dos are not pushovers. They may be basically a bunch of teenagers, but they play good soccer and have been racking up the goals in recent games. Expect them to be a tough out again, and don’t expect Orange County to roll over them.

Still, OCSC have beaten them recently and I think Braeden Cloutier’s squad is stronger. After a recent wobble, with a loss and a draw in their last two games, Orange County will be eager to win, not only to get back into 2nd place in the group, but to get their mindset right again and try and string together another winning streak with the back half of the regular season schedule here. This should absolutely be a good game.

Tale of the Tape:

Orange County SC: 15 points (4-1-3); Goal Difference: +3; Last five games: D-L-W-W-W

LA Galaxy II: 15 points (5-3-0), Goal Difference: 0; Last five games: W-W-L-L-W

How to Watch Orange County SC vs. LA Galaxy II: The game is scheduled to kick off at 7 pm PT at Championship Soccer Stadium in Irvine on Wednesday. You can watch on Yurview in Orange County and Santa Barbara, or on ESPN+ throughout the United States.
