How to Watch FC Dallas vs. LAFC: Odds, game thread

No time like the present to get another win.

MLS: FC Dallas at Los Angeles FC Gary A. Vasquez-USA TODAY Sports

After a much-needed victory, LAFC get right back on the horse on Wednesday, as they are in the heart of Texas to take on FC Dallas.

LAFC got a significant win on Saturday over the San Jose Earthquakes, 3-1, with Cristian Arango powering the side to the victory. The win helped LAFC keep pace in the playoff chase, although they made no ground up to get to the final playoff spot in the Western Conference. Still, if they want to grab a spot from behind, they basically have to win and/or get help from the teams ahead of them, so victories are paramount.

Dallas sit second-bottom in the West, but they have not yet been eliminated from playoff contention yet, although it could be the nail in their proverbial coffin if they don’t win this game. FCD are on a seven-game winless run, but they’ll have Ricardo Pepi back in the fold, the undisputed bright spot of their season, and since they are at home and playing from behind in their season, they may be more loose and put up a big roadblock on LAFC’s campaign.

Carlos Vela (quad) and Eduard Atuesta (shoulder) are both listed as questionable for LAFC, although it doesn’t sound likely they’ll play in this game. The players out: Eddie Segura (ACL), Kwadwo Opoku (knee), Erik Dueñas (ACL), Alvaro Quezada (chest), Julian Gaines (pelvis), and Francisco Ginella (knee). There was no injury report out for Dallas at time of writing this preview.

So will LAFC get another victory, or will we see yet another setback in a season filled with them? This is another can’t-miss game, and we’ll see if the black-and-gold bring home the victory.

Odds:

According to our partners at DraftKings Sportsbook, as of Tuesday afternoon, LAFC are (+155), Dallas are (+175) and a draw is (+250), so it’s close to a push, which seems pretty fair given the context coming in.

How to Watch:
