Orange County SC opened their 2021 preseason slate on Saturday, with a match against local college side Cal State Fullerton, and the pros had the better on the day, beating the student-athletes 5-0 at Championship Soccer Stadium.
New signing Jack Imperato got the scoring started, with a sharp strike with range, to make it 1-0 in OCSC’s favor.

The third goal came from Eero Markkanen off another corner kick, and then Raymond Drai scored yet another goal from a corner kick to give OCSC the 4-0 edge.
Adam Jahn scored the day’s final goal, basically blocking an attempted clearance and getting the generous bounce into the net.

OCSC are next scheduled to face LA Galaxy II next Saturday in their next preseason tune-up. That one should be a great match since both teams are likely to be good in 2021, so it will be a good litmus test on both sides.
