Nature is healing.

MLS: Colorado Rapids at Los Angeles FC Kelvin Kuo-USA TODAY Sports

It feels like nature is healing, right? People are getting their COVID vaccines, more people can come to The Banc now, and LAFC are fresh off a win.

And with it, LAFC representation in the MLS Team of the Week for Week 6 of the 2021 regular season.

Forward Diego Rossi was the player honored, little surprise, as he scored a brace to power LAFC to a 2-1 win over the Colorado Rapids on Saturday. It was a much-needed win for the black-and-gold, and with Carlos Vela setting up one of those goals and Corey Baird the other, there’s hope the team has turned a corner and may be on their way to scoring freely again, and hopefully picking up wins, too.

LAFC are off the foot of the Western Conference, Rossi now leads the team in scoring with three goals, now in the Top 20 around the league in scoring with hopefully plenty more where that came from. Remember, Rossi won’t be with LAFC forever, so enjoy him while you can. Congrats to Diego on the Team of the Week honor.
