We’re in the middle of an extended break for LAFC and the rest of MLS, and hopefully it’s time well spent. While we have some time, let’s briefly take a look back and see if we can enshrine a Player of the Month for the black-and-gold.
LAFC did not have a sparkling record in May, of course, posting a 1-3-1 mark. But regardless of the results, it’s worth taking a moment to pick the top player in the month, and we need your help on that. Here’s a reminder of what happened in the last month:
- May 1: 1-1 draw at Houston Dynamo (goal by Corey Baird)
- May 8: 2-1 loss at LA Galaxy (goal by Diego Rossi)
- May 16: 2-0 loss at Seattle Sounders
- May 22: 2-1 win vs. Colorado Rapids (goals by Rossi x2)
- May 29: 2-1 loss vs. NYCFC (goal by Baird)
As always, every player who played a competitive minute for LAFC is in the running for the award. So who gets your vote? Cast your ballot and explain your choice in the comments below.
